It is with a heartfelt sigh of relief
that all "our" San Diego folks came through the
firestorm relatively unscathed. Natural disasters
are always uniquely stressful for healthcare workers,
who are often called upon to serve extra hours,
sometimes leaving their families in tenuous
circumstances. Such was definitely the case at
UCSD.
