There are certain advantages and
disadvantages to having a mortgage. First off, if it
weren't for your mortgage, you might not be able to
afford to buy your own home. Your mortgage or home
equity loans and lines of credit probably gave you a way
to cut back on your high interest credit card debt and
gave you a tax deduction as well. So much for the
advantages.

CBE designed and launched an
e-newsletter for St. George's Anglican
Church this past month. Does this mean
Dennis is earning credit in heaven? He certainly
hopes so. Heaven could use a good
webmaster.
On our last visit to San Diego, Judith
got to go back in the classroom - well, the computer lab
- and spend the day giving a course in Excel basics to
the UCSD Nephrology Leadership Team. And the brag button pictured in the featured
article is actually ours! We are now the proud
un-mortgaged owners of our home. Just think, if
e-newsletters had been around way back then, there'd
have been no need to invent neat-o things like mortgage
buttons.
