Gold Stars and
Lollipops
Remember
when you were a kid and you got a gold star in school for
something good?
Remember how it felt? And even the lollipop
in the doctor's office, given for bravery in the face of nasty
sharp objects made us feel better. Being appreciated and
recognized is a great motivator. This is true whether you're
an employer, a leader in civic group, or part of a social
committee. If you're not an employer or in a position of
leadership, you might want to pass this on to someone who
is-especially if you recognize the validity of the points
that follow...click here for more gold stars and

In Memoriam
Mehitabel, our oldest cat, passed over the
Rainbow Bridge on Friday, 3/23, at just about 18 years
old. She's
been with us through 5 moves and 3 states. Although her
nickname was "Mouse," she feared absolutely nothing, not
even the vacuum cleaner, didn't like other cats much
(she may not have recognized that she was one), and
always made her commands clear. She also snored
very loudly.
We'll miss
her. | |
